Restart the device.

In such cases where you use your device for some heavy program, this can cause overheating and thus result in Battery Drain Problem

Reduce the brightness

Turn down the screen brightness and adjust the screen timeout. You’ll find both options in the Settings menu.

Factory reset

Factory reset is the last option to fix poor battery life after Android 8 update. When all the methods fail to solve the issue this method comes in help. But remember to back up all the data as factory reset deletes all the data from phone. Follow the below steps to perform factory reset.

Stop certain Apps.

Turn off Bluetooth and Wi-Fi when not in use. Look for toggles in the notification bar or find these options in the Settings menu.

Close background Apps

Sometimes you might be unaware of the fact that several apps are running in the background which drain great amount of battery. All those running apps need to be closed to save some battery. There is no need to install the task manager or any other apps for this rather just tap on the square button situated at the bottom of the display and it will show you the entire recent app list. Close all of them just by swiping off the screen.

Turn off haptics

Your phone’s ability to vibrate to warn you of a new call or notification is useful, but it has to use enough power to make your whole phone shake.

By activating power saving mode.

Take advantage of power-saving modes. Some phones even have Ultra Power Saving modes that, can make 10 percent of the battery’s capacity last 24 hours by turning off inessential features and screen colours.

No matter what you do to your device, it will never stop draining the battery. This will be an issue until someone invents a much-improved battery technology.
