Motorola Moto G5 Plus Is Getting a New OTA Update In Latin America


Motorola has started pushing out a new OTA update to its Moto G5 Plus Device. Arriving as version NPN25.137-78 and weighing in at around 200MB, the update brings along several changes, including improved Miscellaneous stability improvements,Wi-Fi Fix and audio in video capture.

The update has a build number NPN25.137-78 and is around 200 MB in size.

As you see, there are no major changes in the latest update of the Moto G5 Plus. However, it is nice to see Motorola putting significant emphasis even on negligible aspects. There are very few companies which do so.

A quick look at Lenovo forums reveals this new update is currently hitting units in Latin America, although other markets may also be getting it.

The OTA update can be expected to roll out in India as well in the coming days so Moto G5 Plus users can check whether the update is available by going to Settings > About Phone > Software Updates if they haven’t received any notification.


  1. I’m downloading now but let me tell you that if this fixes the audio issues in video recordings this is a winner. I bought this as a second phone recently and the test I made yielded an unusable result.
