How to Update Android 7.0 Nougat Stock Rom on Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime Manually
Step 1. Download Galaxy J7 Prime Android 7.0 Nougat firmware from above link.
Step 2. Unzip Odin tool on your computer and Run Odin.exe file.
Step 3. Enable “USB Debugging” and “OEM Unlock” on your phone.
Step 4. Now, boot your phone into ‘Download Mode’
Step 5. Now, connect your phone to your PC. You will get a blue sign in Odin. If not, install proper driver on your PC and start.
Step 6. In Odin, make sure Re-partition is NOT ticked (tick only the Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time check boxes, see below screenshot for example).
Step 7. Select AP in Odin and choose the firmware file (with .tar extension) you have unzipped.
Step 8. If everything OK, click the Start button. Once the ‘Pass’ message is appeared in Odin, reboot your phone.
Now, go to Settings > About Phone > Software Update. You should get the Nougat update.
