The update is meant for the Tab E 8.0-inch that goes by model number SM-T377R4.The update for Tab E comes with build number T377R4TYU1CQI4 for Galaxy Tab E.

How to Update Android 7.1.1 Nougat Stock Rom on Samsung Galaxy Tab E Manually
Download Samsung Galaxy Tab E Android 7.0 Nougat firmware from above link.
Unzip Odin tool on your computer and Run Odin.exe file.
Enable “USB Debugging” and “OEM Unlock” on your phone.
Now, boot your phone into ‘Download Mode’
Now, connect your phone to your PC. You will get a blue sign in Odin. If not, install proper driver on your PC and start.
In Odin, make sure Re-partition is NOT ticked (tick only the Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time check boxes, see below screenshot for example).
Select AP in Odin and choose the firmware file (with .tar extension) you have unzipped.
If everything OK, click the Start button. Once the ‘Pass’ message is appeared in Odin, reboot your phone.
After the installation finishes, your phone will reboot automatically and present you the latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat Firmware on your Samsung Galaxy Tab E. Any question? Leave it in the comment section below.
