How to Update Android 7.0 Update on Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime Manually
Download Galaxy J5 Prime Nougat firmware from above link.
Unzip Odin tool on your computer.
Run Odin.exe file.
Enable “USB Debugging” and “OEM Unlock” on your phone.
Now, boot your phone into ‘Download Mode’ (Press and hold Home + Power + Volume Down buttons together).
Now, connect your phone to your PC. You will get a blue sign in Odin. If not, install proper driver on your PC and start.
In Odin, make sure Re-partition is NOT ticked (tick only the Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time checkboxes, see below screenshot for example).
Select AP in Odin and choose the firmware file (with .tar extension) you have unzipped.
If everything OK, click the Start button. Once the ‘Pass’ message has appeared in Odin, reboot your phone.
